Ledaswan
A melodic dream-popish beginning has flourished from folky/alternative/singer/songwriter to an instantaneous energetic and emotionally rocking 4 piece. Ericas voice has been described as Juliana Hatfield meets Harriet Wheeler of the Sundays, a female Neil Young. The songs and musical elements are reminiscent to the Cure, Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine, and Veruca Salt. Ledaswan mixes indie-rock, shoe-gaze, folk, blues and pop while staying true to a singer/songwriter blueprint, that is the sound of Ledaswan. Ledaswan has played Emos in Austin for their first show ever when they were invited to play Ladyfest in Austin Texas. Forging a sound all their own in their home town, San Antonio, Texas, Ledaswan incorporates influences from the Jesus and Mary Chain, Sparklehorse, to Elliott Smith, and Mazzy Star.
