The Addictions
from Austin, Texas, feature the female/male vocal tandem of Beth and Jason Richard. They have unabashedly drawn upon the rebellious punk and hard rock of the 70’s to make music that has been best described as “Judas Priest fronted by Chrissie Hynde”. The Addictions recently released their self-titled debut album that features 11-tracks, including the leadoff single “Jaded”, that feels like a combination of your favorite Replacements, Joan Jett, Clash, and Cheap Trick records.
