The Steel Soldiers

The Steel Soldiers, an Alternative/Hard Rock band with all original music, come from all walks of life and call San Antonio, Texas home. Their passion for music and their different styles complement each other and make an unforgettable “in your face” sound. The band got its start playing a jam night at Main Street Bar fronted by founding member, Mike “Supe” Steele. At another jam night, Mike met and ‘enlisted’ yet three more members, Mike McDonald (a US Military Veteran), Andrew Burke (a former Military Brat) and Adrian Perez. In August of 2011, B.J. Thomas (formerly of the band "Killing Ivy") and his ‘guitar’ joined the band. The Soldiers first patrol onto the stage was at Club Calico. Their first ‘paying gig’ was at The Mine Shaft Saloon at the Magic Time Machine. Currently, the band plays at various San Antonio venues such as Clicks Live, Pourhouse Lounge, The Dorm, Bonds 007 Rock Bar and many others. During the summer and fall of 2011, they will be ‘campaigning’ in the cities of Austin and Houston, exposing the masses to their style and sound.“Save youself”, cause it’s going to be a wild ride on the “Steel Coaster” with the guys from The Steel Soldiers!
