Joe Sopala and The Crazy Spill Band: Joe Sopala grew up on the south side of Chicago. Ever since he was a little boy, he frequented some of the finest blues clubs in the Windy City. The first club Joe snuck into was the Checkerboard Lounge. He was thirteen the first time he saw TJ Hooker and Stevie Ray live. The Crazy Spill Band is a three member group with roots in a Stingian Rock and Brownsian funk and a Guthrie folk. In escence, a genre of hard funky folk.
